Karamanli
A largely Orthodox Christian people of Asia Minor
who speak their own Turkic language. Some consider themselves
Greeks, some consider themselves Turks, and some assert a
completely separate identity. Many were relocated
to Greece in the XX Century. A few who remained in Turkey
became members of the
Turkish Orthodox Church, but the overwhelming majority did not.
