[St. Pachomius Library]

St. Gregory the Theologian, often called "of Nazianzus", Patriarch of Constantinople

(Greek GREGORIOS HO THEOLOGOS; Latin NAZIANZENUS)
IV Century
Although Western sources usually speak of "St. Gregory Nazianzen", the Orthodox reserve that term for his father, Bishop St. Gregory of Nazianzus. The Theologian's mother is St. Nonna.
